Dear Lord, Dear Francesco pray for all of us gathered here this afternoon for Katherine your wife, for Father Conor that he may continue to be the bedrock of our Parish of St Colmcilles and for any of our friends that are here today and those who are unable to be here on this occasion.
Francesco I miss you more than you can ever know.  You are always in my thoughts, my heart and my mind.  Please look after me when I go to Italy next week.  Ti amo e ti manca sempre.
 
Lord bless everyone who rests in this special garden.  Give those who are troubled peace of mind, those who are sick, comfort and make this garden and Francesco’s bench a place of solace, happiness and joy.  Lord please protect all who pause here, who rest here and let them enjoy this special place.  Francesco be with all who come and visit also.
 
Lord, pray for places where there is unrest – pray that common sense will prevail, humanity will be more important than power and conflict.  Pray for an end to the wars in Ukraine and now in the middle east.  Let Governments throughout the World realise that conflict never achieves anything. Pray for the innocent people caught up in situations beyond their control.
